Erna P. Harris Apartments

Rehabilitation included the addition of kitchenettes to the single resident occupancy (SRO) units that were formerly motel rooms. Complete plumbing fixtures including new shower enclosures were installed. New kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances were installed, as well as new flooring, windows, paint, and a brand new radiant heat system with boilers and solar panels. The renovation included electrical upgrades and new high efficient bath fans. Of the 35 apartments, six were made ADA accessible.

Site improvements included a new drainage system, new entry gates, trash enclosure, community barbeque, landscaping, and site furnishings. Rehab of the community building, complete with full kitchen and offices completed the project.
