University Ave Cooperative Homes

The project included complete interior remodels — kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and painting — plus installation of new double paned windows, exterior painting, landscaping, elevator upgrades, ADA site work, upgrades to the community room, and adding a photovoltaic system along with new solar thermal system. Since the buildings were occupied, there were five separate phases of the project to accommodate tenant relocation.

Additional work included a new walkable waterproofing system at both podium structures. The system incorporated new drains, core drilling through the structural slab, downspouts redirected and tied into existing drainage system under the slab, and reworking of concrete to correct inadequate sloping.
